Bring in a document
Review Markdown and plain-text sections before sharing them.
Give visitors useful facts
Start with public facts that fit your website. A portfolio can use a bio, project descriptions and contact details; it does not need pricing or refund policies. Pricing is optional for every website. Upload one useful document first, then add other relevant topics. Use clear headings, one topic per section, dates for changing information and relevant page links.
Remove passwords, access tokens, customer records and private internal notes before choosing a file. The upload dialog includes a downloadable Markdown template; replace every placeholder with accurate public facts.

Choose a supported file
Knowledge accepts UTF-8 Markdown (.md) and plain-text (.txt) files up to 256 KB, with up to 50 extracted sections. Example filenames: about-me.md, projects.md, services.md, store-policies.txt and website-guide.md. PDF, Word (.doc/.docx), images and scanned documents are not supported yet; export their text to .md or .txt first.
The importer stores extracted text and its source filename. It does not retain the original file or permanently train an AI model.
Keep the useful sections
Choose up to five files in Knowledge. Each file has a checkbox and its own checking/saving status. Connected uploads screen each whole file before extracting sections; file text is sent to the safety service. Blocked, uncertain or failed checks stop that file. Select ready files and useful sections, then click Save files as drafts. Successful saves remain saved if another file fails. Retry saving the failed file; your section choices are preserved and expired checks refresh automatically. Selecting files alone does not save them.
- Select the ready documents you want to save using their checkboxes.
- Expand each document and read its extracted sections.
- Deselect private, irrelevant or outdated sections.
- Save the selected sections as drafts.
- Use Review drafts beside the saved document, read its text and approve selected sections together.
- Test a documented question and an unsupported question in the Playground; check the filename references.
Upload again with care
Uploading the same filename and content avoids creating duplicates and preserves earlier approvals. Changed content creates new drafts; it does not replace existing approved sections.
Review and approve the replacement drafts, then choose Use this version to activate the new file. The prior version remains available for rollback.
